For over two decades, Emerald Garden has been Kirkland’s unpretentious hideaway—where the drinks are cold, the chinese food is reliable, and the community feels like family. Now, the next generation is stepping in. The founding family’s sons have taken the helm, embarking on a heartfelt mission to revise, revitalize, and reinvest in the beloved dive bar you’ve always known.

Our new guiding principle is simple: Honor the Legacy. Elevate the Experience.

We’re still your essential neighborhood dive, through and through. You’ll find the same welcoming vibe, the familiar faces, and the classic favorites that have defined us for years. But behind the bar and in the kitchen, we’re pouring fresh energy into our foundations.

Part of that revision means thoughtfully evolving our menu to reflect today’s tastes. We’re introducing a wave of health-conscious Chinese classics—because feeling good shouldn’t mean missing out on great flavor. A cornerstone of this effort is our commitment to cleaner cooking: we’ve eliminated industrially processed seed oils from most of our dishes. Instead, we’re using wholesome fats like Avocado Oil and Beef Tallow.
